Baby Boomers, it is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Dr. Randy Pausch. Many of you may have seen his inspiring "Last Lecture" that was delivered last year to Carnegie Mellon University. Professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving presentation, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.
Randy was a man whose efforts to advance the fight against pancreatic cancer greatly impacted the nation.
This is dedicated to my sister, Maryjo Hines who died almost 6 years ago from this terrible disease......
